Quote - How about this. Let's start a list of "banned from now on" generic texture names. I'll get it started with:
wood.jpg
chrome.jpg
gold.jpg
silver.jpg
rock.jpg
stone.jpg
wall.jpg
floor.jpg
ceiling.jpg
house.jpg
oldwood.jpg
silverref.jpg
silverreflect.jpg
silverrefl.jpg
brass.jpg
translash.jpg
eyereflect.jpg
brick.jpg
fetchrome.jpg
chromemap.jpgAnyone care to join in?
There's nothing wrong with doing that. The problem comes with the references in the poser files.
If silverreflect.jpg is referenced like this
**:Runtime:textures:productfolder:gold.jpg
**There's no problem. If it's referenced like this:
**:gold.jpg
**Then it's utterly useless. Especially if it isn't a generic reflection file but a specific texture file.
