Well, I wouldn't dispair I still keep optimistic that between now and the time I die (or maybe after that) I'll make some sort of an art chart on my own merit.  (And shhh... none be pinching me out of this dream!)
That's why we participate in the crit group, no? To improve ourselves and (instantly make the art charts)
I find it humorous, however I'm sure there will be those who get theior panties all bunched up over it, and when it comes down to it, it's really not fair. 
I do wish there was another mechanisam available on rendo for such a thing... Perhaps it could be formulated a bit better and put on a wishlist of improvements, if it keeps active.
