Byrce 6.0 likes to dominate the cpu's priority. In Windows, if you bring up your Task Manager, you can set its Priority to Below Normal.
This won't really make it runner slower, but let you do some small taks while Bryce is rendering with less lag and hopefully less crashing.
FYI - after setting the new Priority, you MUST minimize the Task Manager. Do NOT close it, or the priorities will just go back to what they were.
