I think it's mainly due to the fact that people would rather work with characters that have the WOW factor, thus using V3, V4 & Aiko would stand out more to the people browsing the galleries. I imagine when people make images of faes etc they use A3 because even though she can look realistic she still has that fantasy appearance which would probably be harder with the preschoolers.
