And yes, Macromedia Director would work for the ineractive aprts. Carrara can do that too.
And Flash output too. But if you don't want flash in vector format, instead you want realistic shaded content, just render an anim to AVI or Quicktime with your favorite codec for good compression, and then stuff it into a Flash Video. There are plenty of very affordable tools that can take a movie clip and embed it into a Flash MX or Flash video stream. Such as SoThink Flash Video Converter. Or Xtivity. I have pointers to both in www.thebest3d.com under the Flash section, if you're interested. Just in case there's no time for this project to also learn all the ins and outs of Macromedia Flash. Many roads lead to Rome.
