I've spent a few hours at least every day for about 6 months now.  You've seen my progress, so there ya go.  It does seem like an incredibly slow process - but as I've said, as long as you learn something every time you open the program (even if it is what NOT to do) you are making progress.

If you have used photoshop for that long, you probably know it better than I do - now that IS a complicated program with about a billion variables - if you can learn that well, you have this in the bag.

Don't give up.  I firmly believe that the truly good things in life test us, by MAKING us want to give up.  For me, Art has been one of those.  The frustration just makes every accomplishment that much sweeter.
