I guess you have masked Pedro on a layer (you did use layers, didn't you?), and put a blurred version below him. You could use the same information and use the Photo Lens blur. You can make an alpha channel with Pedro white and the background black. When using the Photo Lens, you choose that channel as your source for the blurring information. This filter will not blur the figure. Alternatively you can clone the 'spilling' background away with surrounding pixels. Hope this helps! Hoof
