I bought some underwater disposable camera at Big Lots for $6 amd they worked find. I had it develop at a drug store and the prints was ok and I had the put on cd too. the cd was not too good for I have gotting a film scanner later on and I see the big diff from my scans and they scans. I do not got the cd no more and if I could I ould not get the prints too. I scan the film and I can see a big diff from the prints and the scans.
Oh the cd the file size was just over 1 mil not big and it was in jpeg. I put it in photoshop to see what I can do with it and when i saved it the file size was around 400. I did not resize it at all but it loss infromation some how.
When I scan I save it in tiff. I did save it in jpeg to see if I would loss information like the cd I got from the store. It did not loss no imformation? the size was the same the next time I saved it. What happen I know not. Maybe someone can tell us?
But the underwater disposable camera I bought worked fine. I love it and will buy more when ever I go to the beaches. I did not go far down for the water was muddy but it took great shots in the wave actions.
Look on pages 13 and 14 for some of the photos I took[in my gallery] . I know the camera can not go too far down just check it out on the box where it is writen to see how far down.
If you do not have Big Lot or if the store do not have them it will cost around $12 to $14 for one that will take 24 photos.
Buy one and play with it. Go to a lake close by and see what it do. Even if you put it in the water to shoot the sun set go for it. I know it will take super shots in a swimming pool for the water is clear there and You can check it out at the 10foot end of the pool

what you see is not what you know; it in your face
