This seems to be a three-point scam:

  1. Get money
  2. Get eBay ratings to 'legitimize' your ranking
  3. Do little work

Now, selling 'how-to' information for software is not illegal.  Rather, it is all over the place.  Ever see the guy in the commercial who'll show you how to use Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, blah, blah.  He doesn't work for M$ as far as I know.

But there are several problems here.  He mainly just points you to the resources and will 'supposedly' give email support.  By looking at the ratings - this is a 'guide' with download links and probably the 'how-to' info.  Also note that 3 ratings were mutually withdrawn (hmmm) and 4 are negative.  Many of the positives seem to be 'wink wink' buddy-buddy comradery.

Finally, looking at his store, anything stand out?  This is something of a  neo-pyramid scheme.  Sell junk.  Sell enough junk to unwitting ebayers and make huge profits.  Notice that every item has a 'sensual' woman in the thumb.  Sex sells - especially junk...

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
