@Anniebel, I'm sorry if I'm being a bit dense, what kind of tutorials are you interested in? On cinema or modeling in general? If you elaborate a little, maybe I can get you some info...
@Anton - First of all THANK YOU for creating such an amazing character, and then making it free - it's heaven!!! I was planing on contacting you once I get past concepts and ideas and the roll with creating stuff for Apollo - if that's allright!
A well functioning and swirling cape may be a nice technical challenge for me to do, ahem, eventually. The basic shape is quite simple, but making the mechanics function well, I'll have to chew on that for a little bit. May take several attempts.
In the meantime, I'll probably make a few less complicated pieces, like some shoes, apron etc...
Love the links you posted. I was just listening to one of the classic victorian literature audiobooks, and remember the description about pointy men's shoes, where the fashion was that the longer the point, the bigger the status symbol...
@jjroland - books are great, I end up buying a stack of them.
Another thing I like to get when I'm researching a product to make is some of books with pictorial archives, Dover is one of the publishers. LOL, that's my weekend wake-up drive, to the bookstore, then I sit there, drink my diet coke, and dig through books and magazines for ideas.
