Hi Connie, what you are thinking makes sense to me. I like the below the knee for the shape and the way it breaks up the pattern of the leg compositionally but for accuracy with your shoe I think you should go above the knee. I would appreciate a copy of the bellow the knee to try with the RAF shoes I bought at the shop to see if I can replicate that look in the image of the woman turned away that I posted and that was cropped so it looked like a male on account of the low heel on the shoe. Since long before Poser I have always tried to break the human form into interesting patterns using partial clothing.... I am very influenced by Egon Schiele.
