I think it evolved due to your fist post. You said, " Im just learning and trying to choose between carrara and silo." This would lead to a wider range of discussions. LOL

bwtr - I do understand what you mean and it does make sence to stick with one app and learn it. I agree with that. I just like to make sure people test drive all the demos and free apps they can before choosing one. Modeling software is very personal and what works well for one person, can be a nightmare to someone else.
