You piqued my curiosity now, so I downloaded a DAZ freebie and extracted it to see what happened. The readme opened fine, but I've worked out what's wrong. I normally install to a temp folder, and place the files I want in the place I want them. My temp folder path has no spaces in it. If you're installing to a normal Windows Poser folder, the path will probably be of the form c:Program FilesCurious LabsPoserN...). To be correct, the path should have quote marks around it, or else the browser will break the URL at the first space; in other words, it will try to open "c:Program" (and possibly "FilesCurious" etc.) I tried installing to a folder with spaces in the name, and got an error as detailed above (in Opera; I imagine FireFox would act the same). There were a total of four Not Found errors. I wouldn't be surprised if IE handled local file URLs with spaces in them more tolerantly. If this is the same problem that you see, there isn't much you can do about it; but do mention it to DAZ, because they should be able to fix it in future releases.
