If its Vue 4 you've got, BT, I probably wouldn't bother - I think B5.1 was better and much more stable. If its Vue5, I'd give it a whirl. Vue made some pretty big strides on version 5 and some bigger ones on version 6. I found Vue5i pretty unstable, but Vue6i seems a lot better, though its stability really can vary a lot from one PC to another. There's a Vue6i free learning edition out now on the e-on website. I think that'd be worth some time if you want to see where its at.
GaryandCatherine are another brycer that turned to the dark side a while back, and they do some really nice stuff in Vue (and did some really nice stuff in bryce). For some reason (not sure why) I find that Vue6i "thinks" more like bryce than vue 5 did... could just be that I'm more familiar with it now. Could be that it has a "merge scene" option too ;)
Death - yeah, it feels very weird seeing the word "Vue" under an image after so long (though infrequently) putting bryce under them lol.
