I want to clear up the reason we said that we would not be opening a new forum at this time.

We open new forums based on MEMBER requests, not just based on the request of the product creator.  If we get numerous requests from members for a new forum then we (admin/mods) would discuss it at that time. So far the only request we have received for a new forum is from the product creator, thus my response to him.
