wow this is super looking. You can ajust to what lenge you wish and move it up and down with the tripod. I think you should pantent this.
look easy to make too. It hard to make out how you got the wood on the tripod but it looks the same as with the camera?

One thing that occurs to me is that the boom is round and there's a chance of slippage the way the camera is mounted so that the camera doesn't stay exactly the way you want it. I'd probably replace the wooden pole with a square aluminium pipe. Maybe also use some butterfly bolts for easy (dis)assembly.

I asked the same question, but pro tripods cost pro-money. For incidental usage this is a fine solution for just a few dollars/euro's/whatever currency :)

Right, and in a studio set-up, it can be left set up while you take your nice pro tripod with you when you go out.
