Wow...this sounds like a good plan, soon as I can afford another USB drive. I've got a Seagate 120 Gb external that's a piece of, shall we say, unproductive hardware? I've complained to Seagate and they said if I'd send the drive and $125.00 US they would attempt to fix the drive. I paid the same amount for the drive at WalMart, who wouldn't take it back because it had been opened and it's against their policies to allow computers or storage devices to be returned after opening them.
I'll keep an eye out for a Maxtor One Touch...who knows?
