Poser 7 still seems to have some bugs. Poser 6 SR2 is very stable (for me) ... not sure if they still sell Poser 6.

Some props made for P5/6/7/ can still be opened in Poser4PP. It will give you a warning of something like 'newer version of file than expected' but usually if you click "ok" PoserPP will still be able to open it.
