Acadia - just an fyi, but the morph putty tool has been in poser a while.  anton would know since when.  it's in the tools between the zoom tool and the direct manipulation tool.

poser 7 introduced a morph brush which makes custom morphs.  hence the  postings of v3 looking better (way better, imho) than v4 in difficult positions by a member whose name escapes me right now.  some people have done remarkable things with the brush, though others have complained of difficulties using it.  i only have p6 right now, and can't even offer my own opinion.  but since people like capsces can do what they do with magnets, while i can't even fit clothes on a torso or get a more realistic breast posing (i've tried and failed at both before), i figure my own experience with the morph brush could have nothing to do with what others have said.

edited to add: i just posted because i thought you might be conflating the morph putty tool and the morph brush, which i've seen lots of people do.  it seems awfully confusing to me, but i think that since the morph putty tool wasn't used much, they didn't worry about the naming.  if you weren't just don't worry about it ;D.
