Quote - OK, it didn't work for me to move the ClassicCasual S3 & ClassicCasual V4 folders out of the Character folder and into the Props folder.  The folder itself shows up under Props within Poser7, but there's no clothing.

Why???

Character folders recognize CR2 files, Prop folders recognize PP2 files. I think what was meant by recommending subfolders is that within your characters folder you have a folder for V4. Maybe you put the V4 figure there. Then in that folder, you create another folder called V4 Clothes - Contemporary (for instance), then load all of your contemporary V4 clothing into that subfolder. You can even keep the individual outfits in there own sub folder. It would look something like this...

|->Characters
    |-> V4
        |-> V4 Contemporary Clothes
            |-> V4 Business Suit

Some things can be moved across category, but you have to change the extension to match their new category. For instance some hair comes as a Prop, (pp2) but sometimes, you can move it to your hair folder. But you have to change the extension to hr2 in order for Poser to recognize it.
