Do you think it could be the difference in viewing angle - although slight - which is causing the difference in brightness of the lights against the ceiling in my images? I'll try slotting in the edge_blend fix, and see what it does (not tonight, though - I promised my good lady we'd sit down and watch a DVD, and I wouldn't come to the computer afterwards!)
