Way to much. Being a newbee a lot of catching up to do by buying things most of you have probably purchased over the last 3 to 5 or more years. Wrote a database to track purchases and wishlist items in Filemaker Pro...have 3505.83 in my wishlist and adding things faster then I buy them. :woot:
I'd be embarrased to admit how much I have spent so far this year. Scary amount. Goal is to storyboard a long fiction story I wrote over the prior year. Based on content I am finding I am having to go back and edit, and change scenes, etc. Like going oh wow, if I add this cool prop, neat accessory, change this characters clothes, does it make the scene better or worse. A lot of what I am finding here drives my imagination to places I never considered taking the text. Which is good.
I enjoy exploring the 3d world and find the whole process so fasinating and fun. So the dollar amount I spend becomes a moot point for the most part.
OT: I have other expensive hobbies also. But what I find so refreshing is how this community never bashes a single person for asking the most simpliest question. Or how everybody tries to help everybody else. I wish my other hobbies' forums where as refreshing what I find here. That alone causes me want to embrace (and spend more in this arena) then other venues I am involved in.
