Do NOT sit down in front of Ultra Fractal while trying to boil eggs.  I was lucky this time.  The water boiled away and burnt one spot on each of the two eggs.   HOWEVER, there was the chance that the whole pan could have been ruined.  So you are forewarned. lol q-:  Don't try to make hardboiled eggs while creating fractals!  xoxoxoxoxo's

Carol! You were lucky.
I make it my motto never to atempt to combine cookery with fractals.  Time flashes by so quickly, and I am not going to tell you - or my husband how many improvised meals have been produced in lieu of the planned ones.

lol Jenny!  I don't do any creating at dinnertime.  I learned my lesson already! (:

I can tell you that if all the water boils off, the eggs will ---explode----! While I wasn't doing fractals at the time, I did get distracted, and came back to the kitchen to find an unsightly debris field all over!! Not pretty...

lol = surfacedesigner!

Rosemaryr=Mine didn't explode, thank goodness.  The water boiled away, the eggs cracked open, and there were brown spots on the pan side.  Guess I caught it just in time!  YEAAAAAA! (:

**Hello! I am a newbie, looking for a software program that I can use to make Fractals.  I have a demo and went to purchase it and the website is no longer active.  I did not download it from the site it says to go to.  It was recommended in the body of a Tut I was looking at and so I downloaded from somewhere in Texas.  One of those download servers.  Apparently it was from a german company.  I even found it on a software site for 29.99 or if Pro 39.99 and it went to the same page that is no longer active.  So...I can't upgrade. I hate to barge in to you thread but I am a bit confussed and overwhelmed as to what to do and where to go with this.  I have attached on fractal but if you don't do them all dark "Demo" is printed all over the Fractal background.  It is irritaing to say the least. Love & Huggles-Beauty Happy 4th!**

Attached Link: Fractal programs link

If you can give us the name of the fractal program you are using, perhaps we can help you find a place to upgrade.  Failing that, there are lots of other programs you can get, some even for free.  The link is a page of suggestions.  Many people here use Apophysis or Fractal Explorer both of which are free and on this locater page.

Good Luck!

lol!  Less soup?  ....we were on a diet anyway, right? q-:

I don't know why we don't use the timers!  For crying out loud, we know we are so hooked on fractals that more than a few minutes go by without our realizing it! lol q-:
