mercblue22 - the clothing should be either in a "Figures" library or a "Props" library.  It sounds like you are trying to apply a MAT pose to clothing items that are actually not in the scene.
Are you saying that everything you installed is in a Pose library? - Are you sure you installed clothing items or just a set of textures meant to be applied to existing clothing items?
It's a bit difficult to get a grip on just what is going on there, but it sounds like you are not putting any geometry in the scene at all.
Do you have a link to the actual product you downloaded?
