Some more test results from my Athlon4400x2 (2x1 Mb Cache) Socket 939, 2.25 Ghz on WinXP 64 bit!
800x800 render:
1 core 4 threads: 106.99 seconds
2 cores 4 threads: 65.31 seconds
1600x1600 render:
1 core 4 threads: 345.77 seconds
2 core 4 threads: 191.52 seconds
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
