Overall I like CG talk. I like to get some honest crits on my work it helps me improve. Some of the posters are a bit pedantic and annoying at times but I find often there is something there you can take home and work on.  Used to post a lot in the Wings forum there too that place was a bit freindlier than the rest of CG talk.
    I find there are a few Genre specific sites for CG that have more meanspirited posts. Often has to do with their views of the genre and if you stray from it they will get nasty with you. I don't need that.
