I requested a reset on a purchase nearly a week ago at DAZ, and fortunately I found the missing EXE while I've been waiting without so much as an autoresponse. DAZ response times are unpredictable and, to put it tactfully, subjective. Like Lazlo, they seem to have a bit of trouble understanding how companies need to interact with their customers; unlike him, they cover that lack of understanding with a thick frosting of car lot niceness.

It's grand that so many folks have good luck with DAZ. I do think HeRe is being a bit unreasonable to expect rapid response during a time when they have been buried in sale traffic, but it's also true that I got screwed over so many times trying to recoup my Hex investment after Eovia sold out that when 2.2 was announced and I discovered that DAZ had lost my ownership records again, I gave up, bought a PC month, and got another license.
