My point is quite straight forward.  For anyone who does not have a lot of experience using 3D or a lot of money to invest, it is much better to start with the basics. Learn how to drive a car before you try to drive a truck.

You may find the car is a nice learning experience, while the truck is not suited for your purposes. And, if you do not like 3D, you have not lost an arm and a leg in a major accident, just suffered a bruise or two.

Waiting for the additional funds you could be learning, which is more important than showing off your rented Cadillac. PLE is nice, but the watermark is so extensive, you do not get to see much of your precious creation. Nor is it all that easy to learn, and PLE in many ways, is just as limited as Easel.  However, Esprit is a nice alternative.
