Hi Twopynts,
Don't you ever do any work :-)
Glad guys like you are always around to show us lesser mortals the way.
Thanks for all the links - yes I have taken the time to read them.Very interesting.
I was annoyed when I bought the D100 as it was deleted within a few weeks, bet I got the last one on the shelf.
Had I waited ( in hindsight ) the D200 would have been my current camera :-(
The reason for considering the D200 is that there is so much dirt on my D100 sensor that it needs to go away and be cleaned.
I was going to do it at the end of last year but we had great weather so I was out and about on landscapes.
Then this year the weather has been awful and I know I should have done it but I figured the bad weather in the UK couldn't last long.
It is now July and still pretty drab.
The reason for the D200 was to have a spare body or rather get the D100 cleaned and use that as a spare body.
But then the wife decided it would be a great idea to have a conservatory built onto the rear of the house, nothing big, just 3 metres x 4 metres - about £10,000.
She never considered how much it was going to cost to lay the floor and put furniture in it - no she is not blonde.
Added to all this I really wanted a lens for wildlife, birds etc btu I guess it needs to be at least 500mm - like really expensive.
Now I am thinking can I afford all this.
Do other guys run into these problems or do they just get what they want.
Do they have a row with the wife :-)
Should I turn to alcohol :-)
Eddie
