Why o why does the hierarchy window have to open up fully expanded? Fully collapsed would make things so much easier to navigate.
And why o why do those folder icons in the library have to take up so much space? A folder is a folder, I can recognize a folder icon when it's the standard Windows/Mac sized icon. A folder hierarchy would also be much, much easier to navigate than the current library system.
And last but not least: the name of the currently selected figure in the document window - there's far too little space reserved. Giving figures meaningful names is essential in a multi character scene, and being able to read the full name in the document window would be highly appreciated...
Dockable tools/palettes would be a great idea - something that most other 3D and non-3D packages have had for years. Saves a lot of screen real estate.
As for cameras - the Vue camera system works great. The trackball makes the current camera rotate around the currently selected object - very intuitive and easy to use. Panning the views by dragging with the right mouse button works perfectly.
The Vue interface suits my way of working and thinking very well - except for one thing: the library system. While the hierarchical structure of the Vue library is far more user friendly than the Poser system, it's got one major drawback - content installed in the library doesn't automatically show up. Especially subfolders don't show up all by themselves. This is where Poser does the better job.
