Just and FYI, Mimic only works correctly if you use a mono channel wave file. No 5:1, no stereo, none of the bastard formats, just a plain, single channel .wav file. Try and of the others, and you either get crashing errors, or simply no function at all. And plan to have a decent audio editing program handy (I use Audition). You will have far more control over things doing it the professional way, adding the actual voice track onto the video in post. That way, if you have more than one sound source in the shot, you can 'slide' the audio track towards one side or the other of the stereo envelope, making the voice 'sound' as if it is coming from the character, not some omnipotent void your brain tells you is somewhere directly before you (not having your speaking character centered all the time, and phase shifting the speech track to seem to be coming from screen left or right where the character is, is one of those tricks that adds realism; or more accurately, -doesn't- intrude with the 'This is not how this should sound I just got thrown out of any interest I had in the clip' effect),
