A New York accent is kinda neat especially to hear. Several of my coworkers have them. However the only way I could think of imitating it in writing is to add excess swearing. Not quite my type of thing. Oh Well. On the other hand. You could simulate having a US southern accent by writing as if you had a "Cockney" accent. I think. Buy the way.
