Interesting stuff Tom, I knew white gold was an alloy - to get the colour. But that's about as far as knowledge on the subject goes.

Earlier this summer we had a couple of swarms of bees at work, this one settled on a large stone finial on top of a gatepost. Luckily I had my camera to hand.
