storm, glad I could help. The Poser problems Vincent has are Poser7 only, if you still use P6, you should be okay.
For multiple figures, with little ram, I'd recommend a wireframe display ( I know, it sucks), disable the background draw thread, organize your figures in layers, and hide the layers you're not currently working on. Avoid the reposing and Poser shader tree if you can.
Purge often.
