I just checked this (I installed the new Daz Studio last night).
I opened P7, then closed it, then opened D|S, loaded a scene, closed it, then opened P7 again, and repeated the sequence 3 times.
In every case P7 loaded the same way as it always has, so whatever the problem is, it's not a compatibility problem with the new version of D|S
