ok.. you do have some serious problems there.. I'd run through the usual checklist :
Antivirus Scan
Spyware Scan
then run a diskcheck and make sure everythings ok there.
with youe system saying that the restore points are not valid, it makes me think you've ethier picked something nasty up or you've got a disk problem that needs correcting.
