Personal experience. My favorite once very bright Samsung 700 model CRT after six plus years seemed to still look Ok for the most part. Then a neighbor discarded their 2.5 year old MAG CRT for a LCD. I rescued the CRT from the garbage and found it brighter than my currently 6+ year old CRT by a HUGH magnitude. At least 2X or 3X brighter. Moral to the story is you get used to the progressive aging and normal decline of a monitor and even the best of them decline significantly in brightness after only 5 years.

Your images look good to me. Nomad looks nicely tanned and the other girl looks like a soft light creamy skin tone. The Freak looks just a touch less than tanned.
