Quote - in a word;probably yes (hey! that's 2 words!..;) How to?- I'm not sure. Seamless, I thought, was the concept of not making it look like it's reapeating. Have I misunderstood? Stay tuned for more helpful answers below this one.

there's 2 kinds of textures; one is made using the DTE (Deeply Tangled Excersize) settings, the other is by using a texture from outside. Every DTE tutorial I've started has made my eyes glaze over in about 3 screens, but that's me.

I know, my question wasn't very clear so may be this will help:

PROCEDURAL SEAMLESS REPEAT TILING

REPEAT TILING: All tiles are identical.

SEAMLESS: No visible (color, structural, etc.) borders between neighboring tiles, natural organic transition from one tile to another.

PROCEDURAL: Tiles are DTE based, not pixel based images.

With Repeat Tiling option in different projection modes I got symmetric (mirror) tiling, repeat tiling with clear "seams" or no tiling at all.

And I need this procedural tiling to be "REPEAT" AND "SEAMLESS".

Any other ideas?

Thanks for your help!
