What works good, well, pretty good for me, is to make my lips a little bigger than the lips on the template. Most of the time you have to do the deform tool, but, just a little bigger, for me gets rid of that. Use deform..pull them down, as close as you can...but, err on the side of larger. I hope this helps...all I can think of. Were the originals the lighter, or the darker? It is hard to tell from the layered pic.
