Thanks ysvry. I guess Blitz Basic goes way back? I've never tried BlitzBasic or Blitz3D, I write in c++. It's just an animation file format that I can use in my games.
I updated him a little bit. There were some loose bones unparented that I fixed, and I finished his thumbs. I also did a little "breathe" and "walk" cycle. They are joined into one action though (still haven't found a way to export multiple actions for the same character)
He looks good. :) My first impression was that he looked like a "cartoon" version of Spiderman.

Hi
A .b3d exporter was recently completed, and I've been wanting to try it out.
So I stopped and made a character to test it out with.
I like it so far, it is definitly easier to use than the .x exporter.
One thing I have noticed though, it "seems to me" each mesh-deforming bone must be connected to another bone, or the deform matrix center point will default to the last bone, wich resulted in my finger causing my whole arm to move. So anyways, that explains all the little bones connecting my fingers to the hand, ect.
Anyways here he is so far!

He is not yet finished (omg he doesnt have a face!) but he is all original and you can do whatever you want with him. He is low poly (3k tris). I prefer rendering 60 frames per second as opposed to 1 frame every couple hours :D I plan to do some more work on him soon.
Here is a link to the page where I downloaded the new .b3d exporter.

It is the only one there is to my knowledge.
