Subject: Cant Download from Renderosity stored free stuff

hello all, I seem to have a problem today downloading from free stuff, never run into this before, and as far as I know none of the settings on my computer were changed. I can browse the site, I can link and download from off site  freebies, but not the Renderosity stuff. I'm running XPpro with IE7 any ideas???
thanks cimaira

Hi Cimaira!

I sometimes have the same problem with XPpro and Firefox, I usually just switch to IE for the bothering file.

Maybe you should do the same (but the opposite way).

Regards / Jonny

To get the download buttons to work you need the java script to run.

Cimaira ( ) posted Sat, 18 August 2007 at 5:58 PM

I only have IE installed and have never run tried anything else.
and if I needed the java script wouldn't it tell me that? and if not how would I go about seeing if I need it or get it??
thanks

I don't use IE and don't know just where your setting would be for something like this.
With netscape, firefox some site will say you need to have the java script turned on for things to work.

You can look at this site and it may help.

Could also be a firewall not allowing the buttons to function if they are used as web bugs.

Not sure why it would kick you off the net, but for some items, alot of providers dont enter in any information in the deatails section..that would be why it is blank
