I think they're more brutal than accurate. I've seen them rip up people for using Poser just because it was Poser. Not because the composition sucked and no tips on how to improve the piece, just that he was a loser for using the tool.

Art is all about intent. Otherwise they wouldn't have crap that they do hanging in the Guggenheim. Somebody likes it. ;)
