I guess (though I could be wrong) that these images used a "kit" of some sort. Like one of the face_off's realism kits. eg. [ Unimesh Realism Kit](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=34302&vendor=280495) The beauty of this kit is that it allows you to use any of your favourite unimesh textures, which fit V3, M3, A3 (with a tweak), Maddie (pictured), Mat, etc. The shader tree is very complex and beyond the skills of mere mortals like me to build myself.
