Certainly, V4 is closer to the right path. The key is tailoring the loops to the actually muscles of the face/body. Wish I were a talented modeler or I'd be doing it myself. The early human figs were modeled for the artist's convenience and it shows. Modelers are now started to look at the problem the right way. Follow the muscle groups and the morphing takes care of itself. Look at the geometry.
