well.. the so-called high-end software just has a lot more stuff to make things easier. I've seen some of the guys here create models and images in Bryce that are every bit as good as those out of Max, Lightwave and Cinema. Could they have done it faster with a bigger platform? Maybe. Depends on how well you know your weapon of choice.
