Great shot! Wonder if he needs some melted butter.

Kai, aside from the sharp edges on the rocks it (the bottle pic) looks salable as stock. Awjay, looks like that crab got grabbed. I guess it didn't sea-the-gul. Good caption you came up with.

Here is a crestal I photographed at a zoo. After seeing how small it really is I can only wonder how Jim Ryder photographs it in-flight AT 90MPH!!

Great stuff since I last visited this thread. BJ, tried to find the Shock coffee locally but no luck yet. ;'] My car is 4 years old and the warranty just ran out, so I treated myself to some much needed new tires and some sporty rims to wear them on. I went from the stock 15" with hubcaps to the svelt 17" wearing performance rubber you see in the bottom photo. I was pleasantly suprised at how different (and better) the ride is. The tires came on the wheel and pre-balanced from the TireRack and I managed to put them on myself without too much trouble. :)

Here is one of the "also rans" from the current One Use Camera challenge.   A $3 disposable camera was used and  postwork limited to miminum..  The camera was ISO 400, generic version.  I guess exposure is set close to f/8 at 1/125 or thereabouts.  Sun was peeking through the trusses of the bridge.

LOL at you two...

Tom, I like that shot a lot!  It has an aged, days-gone-by look to it, that I find very appealing.

This toupee is on display.  Perhaps?

I will not tell you the story of my lost great uncle, the one who smuggled tropical fish from the Amazon River. Fell in love with a native girl..all the men wore gourds as briefs and since he was generally out of his gourd..well..as the story goes nothing more was heard of him. The story is only rumor and too long to tell here.

Allow me to add my congrats! It is also the source of some very interesting pictures as well. I also enjoy the banter, the hair jokes are quite fun, as long as no one thinks they're getting a little thin. Sorry I had too.

The Meaning of "Labor Day" holiday in USA:

To celebrate the working man and woman with a day of rest and celebration.

Truth: A weekend when we work our tails off to get stuff done, laboring at it.

Today, the project was to get the flooring down in the cedar closet.  The aromatic red cedar is supposed to keep moths and critters away from stored clothing and protect wools from moth holes.   The drilling dust still needs to be vacuumed up, the screw holes plugged and the trim installed.  This was the peace of Labor Day today..well, tomorrow is the actual day and we will be grilling hotdogs, hamburgers, anything a barbeque will handle.   I am ready for that!

Sorry, color is a tad off, a shop light still is shining in the closet.  But the wife is happy..so a good thing, indeed.

There was a sundial like this one on a building in Europe, someone said it was the original home of the Masonic lodge.

That's like celebrating the beauty of nature by burning it down :P

So, is the multiple exposure considered photo manipulation?  Maybe only flash manipulation. Yes, nice results.  James, you must have an attic full of stuff to shoot..always a fine shot and interesting.
