Hi Lighthorse, thanks for the info, I did move my content folder from DazStudio to the external drive, only now I can't open any of my saved scenes??? What the heck did I do wrong, lol.
I just copied and pasted the entire content folder on to the external, pointed Daz to it, and it shows up fine and all the items that should be there are there, however when I try to open a saved scene, it goes like this
reading... OK
building scene.... error see log file.. and then Studio shuts down on me. 
any suggestions?
