Based on your work flow, it doesn't look like you'll need C6. If you'd like to eliminate a program-hop, you can pose and render in C6 very easily. C6 does have a faster render engine than Vue6. I routinely use Hex with Carrara for complex modeling because Hex and Carrara play very well together. The Hair editor is kind of a personal preference. Personally, after having used both hair editors (P7 and C6), C6 has a more robust, versatile and easy to use hair editor. The C6 hair seems more friendly to editing, especially when using the complete set of Shader Room options for styling and curling. I'ts fuzz is killer. But that's me - the crazed ravings of a lunatic madman.
