just adding something i noticed the other day,
i just finished building my new 'puter the other week, and have been putting my software back on and updating drivers and such, when i noticed i was getting spam again,
i had done the "let my ISP delete my spam for me" option but was still getting spam, then i went and had a look at my anti-virus software,
i am using McAfee anti-virus, so can only say what is in my console options, you'll have to find the equivalant on your anti-virus software,
in my console options there is an option for checking "on delivery E-mail scanner", which when double-clicked on will open the options for what should be scanned for, some of them were "unchecked" by default (new install) so they were "checked", and now the spam has stopped again (hoorah!!)
so just mentioning this as it may be relivant to some of you, and may help "Stop the spam" (should be a T-shirt)
BTW, i was getting these everyday, "without" e-bot notifications.
it has only been about three days without spam, so i'll let you know if it stopped all together again in a couple of weeks.
