A Sicilian cake, three layers, each layer full of ricotta cheese mixed with chewable chunks of sweet and semi-sweet Swill chocolate..white cake from scratch, iced with pure finest Swiss chocolate mixed with pure butter..then spread over the loaf shaped cake, thickly, decorated with swirls and little floral puffs of the chocolate mix. Oh, so good! Oh, so rich!
I have made perhaps two of these, from scratch of course. All is put in the fridge for a while to let the icing harden but still, it cuts smoothly and simply melts in the mouth...then the layers and the filling. Oh my, I can't stand it!
Hot tamales instead. What a bummer....
